Hello Folks, I’m Steve,

I’ve been ‘around the block a few times’, dancing in Australia. And, after dancing outside the country, Customs has foolishly allowed me back in too. Fortunate though I was, to learn my craft with the Adelaide MM, (still a great team) under Foreman Geoffrey Wark, back in the ‘80s, I still like to see myself as a willing student of the Morris; A bit of a look at ‘NW’ (Clog inspired-dance) and “revisiting” ‘Border’ after many years has kept me on my toes and given me, maybe more than a little empathy with those in some other Sides. I ‘ve even had the opportunity, for several years now, of passing on some Cotswold skills in my chosen home of Tasmania.

What else is fit to print?...... My new bride Maureen, also a Cotswold dancer says, ‘Nothing’ .... So instead, I’ll try and make it ‘polite’.

As some of you already know, in moderation I like a drink....... I enjoy a smoke......... But most of all....... let me Dance. So, if I’m around, maybe you’ll see me, currently in green/black baldrics. I’ll either be at the bar or outside having a ‘quick ciggie’..... or horizontal on the back lawn...... or, by preference, in the Set. I’m approachable, (don’t usually bite) and would enjoy meeting you/hearing your ‘take’ on all things Morris, especially over an ale or two; I just might be able to show your ideas to a larger audience.
